Wheat Protein

The wheat protein provides amino acids and high glutamine levels to the skin, which is why many skin care products such as moisturizers, skin care serums and anti aging creams contain wheat protein; it effectively preserves and improves skin moisture. Wheat protein is added to cosmetics because of its hydrating properties. It has been found to help improve the firmness of the skin. It has also, since it helps retain moisture, been found to reduce the depth of existing lines and wrinkles, thus having anti-aging properties.
